Dr Storm Cory

Storm is an endorsed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Storm has completed a Master of Forensic Psychology and Doctor of Psychology (Clinical), both from Griffith University in Brisbane.

Storm has experience working in various settings including acute mental health, specialist adolescent mental health services, forensic services, private practice and within a university setting.

Approach

Storm offers evidence-based individual therapy for adult clients for a range of mental health concerns, as well as assistance for clients as they navigate through life changes and transitions.

Storm takes a wholistic approach to therapy and recognises the importance of creating a safe and secure environment for clients, with an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship.

Storm likes to take the time to understand the person in front of her and to help clients identify patterns of unhelpful behaviour. Storm encourages clients to develop compassion for themselves and enjoys being able to see clients grow and overcome their challenges to improve their health and wellbeing.
